Boasting the most stunning valley views imaginable, our clients were thrilled to get ahold of this breathtaking Calistoga property but felt the Spanish-style residence wasn’t in keeping with the surrounding natural beauty. Working in partnership with Schmitt + Company, we embarked on a design build renovation to reimagine the estate from the inside out. Floor to ceiling windows were added throughout the property to frame the stunning landscape and let more light in, and natural stone and wood elements were incorporated throughout both the interior and exterior to create warmth, a nod to the indoor/outdoor lifestyle that Northern California is known for.

Nestled on the quiet streets of Browns Valley, our clients’ living room, dining room, and kitchen were in need of a layout overhaul to better maximize on family time and create a more inviting space for cozy reading and entertaining. The original living room boasted high ceilings and great bones, but a disproportionate fireplace was making the room feel small. We designed and built a custom concrete fireplace with custom metal built in shelves to display our clients’ beloved books. Vintage Mid Century Modern pieces were mixed in with more modern finishes to give off a retro yet style forward vibe.

Sommelier Matt Stamp and partner Ryan Stetins were excited to open the valley’s newest wine bar, restaurant, and retail shop in the newly-renovated Napa Shopping Center. We worked with them to transition an empty mall space into a vibrant environment compelling to locals and visitors alike. In addition to maximizing the restaurant’s budget to focus on high impact areas, we came up with creative solutions to improve the flow of the space and drafted a flexible floor plan to accommodate different events. The restaurant even features a custom sliding barn door, which can be slid back to reveal video equipment for wine education classes – among Compline’s many creative offerings.
